We are in Disney celebrating our 4th anniversary and a surprise trip for Jessica. There are so many great baby clothes and toys we are picking out for babygrune. Here’s babygrune’s first pic by the castle.

The lyrics to this song really hit me recently. Out of dust, God has created us. Out of us he has taken something lost and broken and redeemed it. He makes us new.

And what better picture of God making beautiful things than taking two people, who were made out of the dust, and making something new out of us. How cool is it that of dust God has fashioned little babygrune and already has a plan for him or her.
Size of Baby at 13 Weeks
We are into the beginning of the 2nd Trimester and Jessica is slowly started to feel much better. Currently babygrune is about the size of a peach. There are tiny buds of arms and legs. There are even vocal cords already developing.

There’s a new addition coming to the Grunewald family. We recently got to hear the heartbeat and see the first ultra-sound. It really just looked like a blob in there, thankfully Jess is going to keep it in the oven and let it get a little cuter. I’ve taught the verse from Psalm 139 many times, but thinking about it in light of what’s going on with babygrune puts it in a completely different light.
“For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.” – Psalm 139:13-14
